Does an iPad screen take longer than a phone screen?

The perimeter adhesive has to cure before the tablet is safe to hand back, so most tablets are 1 to 3 business days.

Is the glass separate from the display on an iPad?

On some models the digitizer is separate and on others it is fused to the LCD. We confirm which yours is before quoting. The two are very different repairs.

My iPad charges to full and dies overnight. Is that the battery?

Almost certainly. The cell is glued across the chassis against the logic board, so removal is slow work with solvent, and fresh adhesive goes in when it is reassembled.

Will Touch ID still work after a home button repair?

On older iPads Touch ID is paired to the board and cannot be transferred, so the button works afterward but the fingerprint sensor does not. We say which functions survive before starting.
