Why Galaxy screens are their own problem

On an iPhone the display is a module you swap. On a Galaxy S or Note, the OLED panel, the digitizer, and the frame are laminated into a single fused unit, and the curved edges mean there is no flat surface to lift from. Shops that try to separate the panel from the frame to save money end up with dead touch zones along the curve or a green line down the display weeks later.

Battery replacement

Samsung batteries are held in with adhesive strips that get more aggressive with each generation, and a battery that gets punctured during removal is a fire risk, not just a dead part. We heat and lift them properly. If your Galaxy is swelling enough to push the screen away from the frame, stop using it and bring it in, because a swollen cell will eventually crack the display on its own.

Charging port repair

Most Galaxy models put the USB-C port on a separate daughterboard, which makes this a cleaner repair than on many phones. Pixel and Motorola models vary, and some solder the port directly to the mainboard. Those we repair by micro-soldering in house rather than telling you to buy a new phone.

Back glass and camera housings

Galaxy back glass is fused like the front, and the camera ring is part of the assembly on recent models. We remove it with laser rather than brute force so the wireless charging coil and NFC antenna survive the job.

Foldables

Z Fold and Z Flip repairs deserve an honest answer rather than a fast yes. The inner folding panel, the hinge, and the outer cover are three separate concerns, and some foldable damage genuinely is not worth repairing against the value of the phone.
