How does a kiosk price a cracked iPhone?
Every automated kiosk and mail-in buyer works the same way, and once you see the mechanism the decision gets easy. It still has value, and two things change. First, the storage may hold the only copy of something you want, so ask about data recovery before the phone changes hands, because once it is sold that chance is gone.
